So as it goes, the anime I began watching in the beginning of this season are not all the anime I’m watching currently. There have been some additions as well as some anime which I’ve dropped. Since we’re more than halfway through the Summer 2019 season, here’s a list of the anime I’m still watching and why!
1.Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?

I don’t think I need to elaborate much on this.
2.Enn Enn no Shouboutai

So I originally didn’t intend to watch this anime as I’m already way ahead in the manga, but after noticing some clips of the anime’s absolutely amazing fight scenes and action online, I knew I had to watch it.
3.Maou-sama, Retry!

This is a fun little series which is quite different from what I envisioned when I first started watching this. There aren’t any amazing production values attached to this anime, it’s plot is simplistic and the execution is a bit dry, but it’s a fairly unique take on the isekai genre in that the character is a demon lord, but not a fantasy demon lord, but a demon lord from a post-apocalyptic, dystopian type era. It’s weird, but also quite fun. This anime can get awkward at times though.
4.Kanata No Astra

I really like this anime. Great animation and art style, the kind of story that tickles all the right spots, Kanata No Astra is an anime I had no idea would turn out to be this good. There’s just about the survival ‘misadventures’ of a bunch of teenagers in space which bequeaths an emotional and entertainment value which is not expected of it. It’s really good
5. Okaa-san Online! aka Milf Isekai!

I don’t think I need to explain this as well. Read it’s bloody title.
6.Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?

Man, I love this anime so much. I love easygoing, casual anime like this and hot girls exercising? A gentleman can only ask for more, not less!
7.Tejina-senpai

I was first acquainted with Tejina-senpai whilst browsing through new manga to buy on Kodansha Comics’ official english manga website(where I had also previously bought Ao-chan from). I must say, this anime has been living upto all expectations I had of it.
8.Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2

I have said a hundred times before and I will say a hundred times again, I love anything by Souichirou Yamamoto and Takagi-san is the pinnacle of the type of manga/anime I love. All hail our lord and savior Takagi-san! It also helps that the quality of the anime is as top tier as it gets.
9.Sounan desu ka?

Pretty girls stranded on an island! Learning random survival skills! An unexpected seasoned adventuring veteran! Count me in!
10.Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo

This anime is gold. Literally. It’s like a version of Seitokai Yakuindomo, like both are like different flavors of chocolate ice cream. I love this anime, it’s amazingly funny, but also reflective of the struggles teenagers, especially girls might have to go through in their formative years. This anime is really goddamn good.
11.Given

Really nice, emotionally driven, warm anime that includes music and stuff. Good animation, I really like the character relations, an overall great departure from the kind of anime I usually watch.
Now to talk about why I’m not watching certain popular anime:
Vinland Saga: I’ve read the manga and it’s not the type of story that one can enjoy again and again. I’ll eventually watch it sometime later on, but not now.
Uchi No Musume: I’ve read the light novels. I know how it ends. If you’ve read the light novels, you know exactly what I mean.
Isekai Cheat Magician: Isekai trash. Dropped it.
Arifureta: These people fucked this up so bad. So bad. I almost feel bad for the source material.
Yamishibai 7: Saving it for later.
Farewell for now my dear readers! I’m looking forward to Fall 2019 as well now. I’ll upload a post for that later.
